
It is really important that you attend your scan at the correct time, as the images from the scan will support your diagnosis and any further treatment. It also ensures that our team are not left with gaps in their workload as patients haven’t attended – which is a significant cost to the hospital. Walk in service
While a confirmed appointment time is required for the majority of our scans, patients can generally attend for x-rays on a walk in basis, this includes:
- Where you have been referred from a doctor for an x-ray

If you do need to change your appointment, please contact us at the earliest possible time from receiving your appointment, as this allows us to offer the slot to another patient – ensuring no capacity is wasted and our patients waits are kept to a minimum.
